EPACA has been supporting partner of the Model European Union (MEU) 2014, a large scale simulation of how the EU decision-making process works.

EPACA joined the seventh edition, which took place last week at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, as a representative of an important jigsaw of the EU decisional puzzle. A workshop with a group of the MEU delegates gave us the opportunity to explain the role of the European Public Affairs Consultancies and their representative body, EPACA, and to discuss the challenges faced by public affairs professionals. After this fruitful exchange of views, we opened the closing ceremony with a speech on Public Affairs Transparency and best practices. The fresh enthusiasm -and solid preparation- from the MEU delegates is a strong stimulus for EPACA and a promising signal for the highest standards of our profession. Our best wishes for a bright future go again to this new generation of EU professionals and Public Affairs practitioners.
