Biography - Justin Greenwood
Justin Greenwood has a career-long experience in the application of academic knowledge to EU public affairs practice and policy analysis. He has been a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe (3 departments) since 2004, and is an Emeritus Professor of European Public Policy at the Aberdeen Business School (UK), with a long academic career of research publications, funding awards, and teaching. He is currently in discussion with the publisher Palgrave Macmillan for a 5th edition of his flagship book ‘Interest Representation in the EU’. He has EU public affairs consulting and training experience with EU associations, Brussels based consultancies, US companies, the European Commission, and the International Labour Organisation. He has served as an Expert Advisor to an inter-institutional working group to review the EU Transparency Register, and most recently (May 2020) as an Expert Evaluator to the EU Horizon 2020 research programme.
Biography - Amarylli Gersony
From 1995 to 2019, Amarylli Gersony worked in the European People’s Party at the European Parliament. She was an Administrator and Advisor at the European People’s Party in the European Parliament, conducted trainings and career development trainings within the Secretariat of the EPP Parliamentary Group, and was an Administrative Manager following political files on Environment, Public Health, and Food Safety.
Prior to that, Amarylli worked as responsible for external relations in the Milan Chamber of Commerce, as a freelance advisor on External Relations at the Office of the European Commission in Milan, as a “Prestataire de Service” at SCR Associati s.r.l. in Milan, as a journalist at La Stampa in Turin, and as Parliamentary assistant of MEP Enzo Bettiza.
Amarylli’s background is in business administration and languages and translation.
As of 2021, Amarylli is a member of EPACA’s Professional Practices Panel.
Biography - Lisette Tiddens
Lisette Tiddens-Engwirda has an academic background in Law and Administrative Sciences. She is a Member of EPACAs Professional Practices Panel and Member of the Stakesholders Dialogue Group (DG SANCO).
Until March 2012 she was Vice-Chair of the Management Board of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), Chair of the EMA Management Board, Telematics Committee.
Previously, amongst a number of positions Mrs Tiddens-Engwirda recently held, she was Secretary General at CPME, Secretary General at PGEU, Managing Partner and Senior Consultant Public Affairs at Bennis BPR.
