Brussels, 20 May 2026 - The Board of Directors of EPACA has unanimously elected Matti Van Hecke as the Chairman of EPACA during the first meeting of the newly elected Board on May 20. Van Hecke, Managing Partner of Brussels public affairs consultancy Political Intelligence, has been entrusted with leading the Association for a mandate of two years.
Speaking of his vision for EPACA, Van Hecke shares:
"Transparency is essential, but it only builds trust when society understands the legitimate role of public affairs. As professionals, we must not only advocate for openness, but also show how inclusive, well-informed policymaking leads to better outcomes for citizens, businesses and society"
