On April 23, 2026, the EPACA General Assembly adopted a revision of our Code of Conduct.
The Code is binding on all EPACA members and underpins the credibility of the public affairs profession as a whole.
First adopted in 2005, the Code is regularly reviewed to ensure it remains relevant in light of political developments and technological change affecting the public affairs sector.
The 2026 revision aims to update and modernise the content to reflect today’s context, include a section on responsible use of AI, reorganise the Code under clearer categories, and revise the enforcement procedure.
