The addition of Fourtold to the association brings the membership to a total of 45 members

Brussels 16/05/2023 – The European Public Affairs Consultancies’ Association (EPACA), the representative trade body for public affairs consultancies working with EU institutions, announces Fourtold as the newest member of the association.

Fourtold is an award-winning public affairs and communications consultancy supporting clients from strategy to delivery in the EU, the UK and internationally. By joining EPACA, an association comprised of large, medium, and small sized EU public affairs consultancies, Fourtold stands alongside its fellow members in committing to EPACA’s code of ethics and transparency.

Matthew Willis, Partner at Fourtold: “Fourtold is already well established in Brussels as a policy campaign consultancy, and joining EPACA marks an important step in the evolution of our EU public affairs and policy comms offer. We’re delighted to become part of the EPACA community.”

Nicola Scocchi, Partner and Head of Brussels Office at Fourtold: “As we continue expanding our operations in Brussels and at EU level, at Fourtold we want to play our part when it comes to driving the highest professional and ethical standards in public affairs and political communications. Joining EPACA is an important step in this direction, and we look forward to bringing our contribution to the public affairs community and to relevant debates and initiatives.”

EPACA actively participates in discussions relating to the mandatory transparency register, the role of public affairs in the democratic process, and initiatives towards nurturing a more transparent EU affairs space. EPACA provides training to all member companies on its Code of Conduct. It has established formal self-regulatory arrangements, such as the independent professional practices panel, and offers members online trainings and in person events on topics related to public affairs.

Isabelle De Vinck, Chairperson of EPACA: “We’re happy to announce that Fourtold joins us to become the 45th member of our association. EPACA is always eager to grow, welcoming fresh perspectives and bright minds with every new member. Gaining a broad and loyal membership is crucial for us to achieve our goals of increased transparency and ethics in the world of public affairs. We look forward to facing the future of the sector alongside our members, old and new.”
